This site-specific vinyl installation for Heaven Gallery in Chicago, IL draws from a practice of virtual exploration on Google Earth. The reflective vinyl glows in direct light, revealing a structure depicted as a 3D modeled mesh. The design references a scene of technical dysfunction in the map's street-level view of the gallery space, wherein the viewer is able to accidentally 'enter' the 3D model of the building within the map, and view the underlying framework of the simulated environment.
